Hi Red, welcome to the forum 🙂 You're not wrong - diabetes can be a very confusing disease! The thing to bear in mind is that there is no 'one size fits all', so it's necessary to find out how you are personally affected by it, and what modifications to your diet and activity levels work best for you as an individual. Thankfully, there are some guiding principles, so they present a good place to start. Have a read of Jennifer's Advice and Maggie Davey's letter to get a good idea about he things to look out for, and Type 2 Diabetes: The First Year by Gretchen Becker is an excellent book recommended by many of our members.

Are you on any medication for your diabetes, and have you been diagnosed long?

Please feel free to ask any questions you may have - nohing is considered silly, so whatever is confusing you - ask away! 🙂

Welcome to the forum Red 🙂

Hi. Welcome to the forum. My son was very recently diagnosed and we are still trying to work it all out! 🙂 However, I have found this a great place for advice and support.

Hi red. Welcome 🙂

The more you can tell us about yourself, the more we can offer. Look forward to further posts.🙂
