A patient received confidential details of several other people in the post after an error by a Northamptonshire NHS trust.
The diabetes patient received the names and addresses of 12 patients in a letter sent to their home address.
It is understood the letter, from the Diabetic Retinal Screening Service, was an appointment and the patient complained to Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS, which runs the service. The error was included in the trust?s most recent serious incident report, which covered incidents since April.
