Firstly i need to send out a big apology for not logging in and posting for a very long time. I do stop by here at least once a day and read all your posts though.

The reason i've logged in today to post is because i have some concerns i need help with. For the last 2 weeks i have felt constantly very nausea with absolutely no appertite, bloated and tired. These feelings are a lot worse in the morning. As far as my actual control is concerned, everything seems fine, with an exception of a couple of high sugars but nothing too serious. I keep checking both my blood and urine ketones and they come back clear.

I've been down to my local gp twice now but can't find anything wrong, although they have given me a weeks worth of antibiotics just in case

I'm really fed up feeling so poorly now and i just wish i knew why i was feeling like this. I have phoned my dsn this morning but was told she doesn't work on a friday so i am waiting to hear from another nurse . Has anyone else felt like this before and what was it put down to ? I'm going away for two weeks at the beginning of november and want to feel better before i go.

Anyway thanks for reading, hoping someone can shed some light on this :(

hello Samantha, sorry i cant shed any light on this, but hope you get it sorted soon. I sometimes feel nauseous if bg a little high, but this is not the case with you.

hi there samantha nice to see your posting again , I find on a morning if i eat anything before 10 o clock it is amazing as i dont have no appetite , as for the nausea how is your sleep pattern? are you a good sleeper or do you have disturbed sleep? i hope the anti biotics help x

Hi Steff
My sleeping pattern seems ok. I go to bed about 11pm try reading for a little while but lately felt far to tired to even read one page. As soon as my head hits the pillow i'm completley out of it until around 6am when these nausea feelings tend to wake me up.

I went through a period about two years ago of feeling extremely tired, even to the point of falling asleep at my desk in work. I was eventually diagnosed with depression. This can also affect appetite, but don't think that it would be causing nausea unless it's stress related.

I once felt like this when I mistakenly put slow acting insulin in both my needles but if your BG is fine then I don't think it can be that.

Tiredness and loss of appetite can be symptoms of thyroid problems. Have you had your thyroid levels checked recently.

Hi Samantha, I hope you are feeling better.

I have just had a week where my tummy has been out in the mornings, but Ok by afternoon. Mine was just due to stress I think. It may pay you uo talk to the practice nurse and see if she can come up with anything.

I should have explained this in my first post. I have already been diagnosed with anxiety and mild depression. I'm currently back on medication for this. The more i think about it the more i'm convinced that this medication i'm on is making me feel so grim at the moment. I spoke to a dsn yesterday and she doesn't believe my symptoms are diabetes related, so that's something i guess.
