Hi everyone!
My name is Sarah and I am a Clinical Psychology Masters Student at the University of Bath. I am conducting a research project focused on understanding and improving compassionate care in healthcare settings, something we know has a significant impact on patient outcomes.
In the final part of this project, we are validating the new measure: Compassionate Healthcare in Action scale. This questionnaire is designed to help services better assess and delivery truly compassionate care. But for it to be meaningful and representative, we need input from a wide range of voices, including individuals with long-term health conditions.
The eligibility criteria for taking part includes: being over 18 years of age, living in the U.K and having been in contact with a healthcare worker in the past month (e.g GP, nurse, mental health worker, pharmacist etc). Although we cannot provide compensation for participation, there is the chance to win an Amazon voucher in a prize draw.
