Surely people shouldn't wait for it to be a specially designated day before expressing their appreciation for managers - or indeed - anyone else?

Trouble with having a specific day is, people who it never occurred to, to say 'Thanks' because they are unthinking persons, will just say it then cos everyone else is.

But - will they really mean it? - and would they ever do it again without someone prompting them?
