I think that they are steady but do you think that the basal needs to be increased?
I had a correction dose at 6.45am so I'm classing the basal test as being from 11am to 5pm
The BG starting point is obviously higher than I would like but, according to the basal test guidance, is well within the levels for basal testing.
I have my thoughts but would appreciate other views.

6.45 am Correction bolus
11am Start of basal testing
11am 8.9
12pm 8.6
1pm 9.3
2pm 10.5
3pm 10.2
4pm 9.6
5pm 10.2
5pm Correction dose as recommended by testing machine
This is still based on 70% basal

Personally, I think those levels are remarkably steady, especially if you take into consideration meter accuracy 🙂 Which is what you want really, you just need to be starting at a slightly lower level.

Thanks Alan, that's what I thought but it's great to have your view as well 🙂 It was a shame that my 6.45 am correction dose didn't do its work properly and get me down to 6.5 for 11am. I know a target correction to 6.5 is still a little high but I think my DSN has put that into the machine because of the dropping sugars.

That does sound sensible 🙂
