Has anyone ever suffered a Hypo due to the cold????????

On Sun was at a dinner and the room was cold , but not too cold well, anyway had the meal and taken Ins, but began to feel so strange ......... my lips and tongue where numb and tingly. I did a test and was 1.7 !!!! so had some lucozade.
I have never expierenced anything like it .. Did I do the right thing...... plus put a wooly jumper on. felt lousy all day Monday too

If the room was cold you would have to work harder to keep warm. Often when it is cold and we have to work to keep warm, we use up more energy so are more likely to have a hypo.

You did all the right things. I hope you are feeling better.

Cold weather makes my blood glucose drop too - excellent excuse for keeping the heating on.

Lucozade was a very good choice
