Good Morning
I was hoping to avoid this awful cold which seems to be doing the rounds at the moment -but I have not been that lucky.
I am lucky that my boss has allowed me to WFH whilst I have this dreadful cold.
Can anyone offer any help or information on best cold remedies to manage the cough, cold and conjestion without having a negative impact on my blood sugar levels. I usually use Lemsip sachets but these have caused my levels to go very high (10.4) and I am usually around (6.5) and this is stressing me out to say the least !
Any help and suggestions would be great 🙂
Kind Regards -Maureen

Basically it is Paracetamol and rest if needed. Pushing yourself to hard to carry on working can delay recovery. Chicken noodle soup is also recommended.

Besides the sugar content cold cures are not recommended for anyone on BP medication.

Also do a lateral flow as the delta variant of Covid initially feels like a heavy cold. I speak from experience.

Hi
Thanks for the response much appreciated.
I have to test 3 times a week for work so far all results are negative which is good news I will continue with the old faith paracetamol and continue to rest up. Regards M
