Hello!

Just a quick query. The docs have said they think I have neuropathy with tingly, numb hands.

My fingers are quite painful to grasp things and my arms feel weaker than normal also they are extremely cold (particuarly my right one). Does anyone know if this is related to the Neuropathy or should I get it checked out by the dr? xxx

A couple of possibilities spring to my mind: arthritis and circulation problems. If you are not happy withthe original diagnosis, ask for a second opinion. It has been very cold recently, so that could play a part too.

Wear gloves as often as you need to and find out if something like physiotherapy will help.

What type of "docs"? If you don't have a definitive diagnosis and / or treatment (which may include clothing, physiotherapy, medication etc), then it's worth going back to your GP, describing problems and asking for help in finding a solution - they'll have far more information, from questions, examination etc than anyone on this board, and will know about local specialist services.

Agree the Copepod, but since my last post, I have been on the computer some time, and have noticed how stiff and cold my left hand is. At home the mouse is on the left, and what I have at the moment feels like RSI, so I'm going for a break and to make a cuppa.

Go see your doctor and get all possibilities ruled out.
