Has anyone got one of these meters. I got one because the strips are much cheaper than other machines unfortunately this meter reads higher than my contour. I have 2 contour machines and they always read more or less the same. I'm not saving any money at the moment cos I keep checking the codefree with the contour.

Haven't heard of them Sebstar. All meters are supposed tow work within to an accuracy of 20% i.e. between 10% lower and 10% higher than the true reading. I think most read well within this, but perhaps these stretch that to the limit? What is the difference in readings?

I have been using code free test strips in my Optium Exceed for about twelve weeks now. Yes they did test slightly higher than the old strips (did a test old strips v new code free strips when I got the new code free strips) but soon get used to this. I did report this to the manufacturer who sent me a calibration test kit (checked out fine). You soon get the hang of them.

If this is the case then you are better off sticking to one meter. None of them are 100% accurate.

Yes that's the one. The strips are a really good price but I think I will stick to my contour.
