I am type two and I have a meter and strips provided by GP but I'm going through my repeats very quickly and I think that as I've reduced my Hba1c to pre diabetic level that I might run in to issues get constant refills. So I decided to purchase the code free meter as the strips are 1/2 the price of strips for my meter and use two meters. I'm happy to have a prescription for 50 a month as my prescriptions are free and buy an additional 50 a month.

When I put meter and 250 strips in basket on Amazon it insists on charging me £2 postage even though both items are postage free. When I put them in individually it's free postage so I just did two transactions. Has anyone else noticed this?

SD codefree meter is £12.99 and 100 test strips are £14.99 (if you ticked the yes i am diabetic tax). both are uk post free unless you change the delivery from Standard. However you have fallen foul of a bug in Amazon, 3 items ordered results in a £2 postage fee.
I suggest you go to your order details on Amazon and report the problem. In future you can order direct for https://homehealth-uk.com, slightly cheaper.
p.s. Amazon only offer 100 strips, so I don't know how you got 250.

There are two links for strips and 250 was £32.99 so cheaper than home health. Click on link that say 7.99 and more options available- not the link that say £14.99. Then a little box or picture and you choose 250. Only £6.50 then for 50.
I only had two items in basket. I just bought 1 item at a time.
