Coalville new group opens

Held the first meeting of the new Coalville Diabetes Group. It was held, by kind permission of Johnathon, at the Co-op Cafe. Absolutely brilliant turnout by people to show their support. We have a Chair, Katy, a Secretary, Andrea and a Treasurer, Pete. Thank you all for giving your very valuable time and showing your support. It’s taken a long time to put everything in place and get this Group off the ground and a lot of people have given me an enormous amount of guidance and support. One person who has been an absolute diamond in pushing this project forward is Lisa. Her commitment and drive, in ensuring we got off the ground, has been inspiring. Thank you Lisa. Once the committee have met and planned our future I will get back to you. Thanks again to everyone who came today. One date for the diary is the December meeting, to be held on 6th December at Coalville Education Partnership in Market Street. Opening at 1500 hours. The theme will be “ coping with diabetes at Christmas “. I look forward to seeing you all there.
