does anyone else take this? as i'm on statins it's recommended that statin users should take this as statins deplete the body of this.

I did hear about this when I was trying to decide whether to continue taking statins, but from what I read I couldn't work out whether it was one of those 'fringe' recommendations, like with a lot of supplements. Would your doctor be able to help shed any light on it?
