I have been on Clopidogrel for well over a year now. Whilst it make you prone to bruising (which I accept) the odd bruise following after insulin injection is annoying. Anybody else suffer this?
I've been on Clopidogrel for years and really don't have any more tendency to bruise than previously. When I was on MDI I did occasionally bruise after an injection, usually because I'd hit a capilliary with the needle. I think most people on MDI find this. I do not notice it when applying cannulas now I am on a pump - though occasionally when I take the cannula out there is some bleeding.
I'm like Patti - taking it years and nothing untoward noticed. Those look like capillary bleeds to me though - if we want our dermis to stay healthy, occasionally we'll find one - Cloppy Dog or not.
