Hi does anyone know how the time change works with taking long acting insulin? I am meant to take at 6pm shall I continue to do the 6pm time slot? I was told that toujeo can be taken 1 hour before or 1 hour after scheduled time? any advice much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Long acting means long acting. An hour either way doesn't make much difference, so don't worry about the clock change. (So, if it's convenient, just keep at 6pm. But if you find one day 5pm or 7pm is better then do that and don't worry about it.)
Yeah just carry on the same as if the clock hasn't changed. Nobody the size of a fully grown adult is going to be THAT sensitive to insulin that an extra one hour's worth is liable to kill em pdq.
