Err - how were any of the patients allegedly affected, ACTUALLY been affected? If they haven't had blood borne pathogens passed on, they haven't been. There again - anyone know if the blood borne pathogens medical science already knows about are automatically also interstitial fluid borne pathogens, since we don't inject into veins or arteries using ruddy pens.

Interesting comment that trophywench. I can't add anything as I dont know, but doesn't sound like good practice to share insulin pens, even if using a fresh needle each time (if they did?).

Well no - I agree with you that it isn't good practice - plus I suppose coloured by my passing knowledge of UK law. My knowledge of US law of course is considerably lower!
