Hi everyone,
I just wondered if anyone uses one of those devices,
I seem to be suffering from puffy feet feeling swollen, usually when I wake up and then evening times.
has anyone used one of the circulation machines ?
would they help with puffy feet ? And any idea what make would be best suited for this problem
Any advice please ?
 
If it’s the device I’m thinking of, some people have found it made their feet worse. I think it would be sensible to check with your doctor/nurse first.
 
I suspect that a walk might be what is required. Nothing energetic, just a steady pace and that ought to lift the excess fluid from your feet back towards the heart. The steady pulsing of leg muscles takes strain off your heart - people who regularly take long steady walks up mountains show lower pulse rates than those who join them but do not have the powerful muscles in their legs.

I have one, I bought it thinking it would help with my blood circulation as I work at home now and can be sat down 3/4 at time

They are ok, but was advised by Nurse that they only help a little bit and the circulation is more one way and does not help the whole body and if I can to walk would be better.

Not used it for a while now and decided to take up walking instead.

Have you changed any medication as when the GP increased my dose of amlodipine my ankles and feet were swollen and puffy, standing made it worse but walking helped. As soon as I stopped taking the increased dose they were back to normal. I should speak to you GP if it continues.
