Just wanted to say thank you to everyone on this forum for all your help and support through our first year with dad being diagnosed with diabetes.

We would never have had access to such excellent advice and tips without this forum. I have learnt from reading other posts/replies and have felt support when we needed it most.

To everyone who has helped by replying and to those who have been of the most practical help behind the scenes we both cannot express our thanks enough. Kindness in word and deed!

Both of us have been along a bumpy road but with each bump came learning. Dad has become a lot more understanding of how complex diabetes can be. I am so pleased to report he has really taken his part in the need to control and how much he has done to strengthen his knee. Execrcise is proving a challenge when understanding those BG readings but eeryone here knows all about the ups and downs of diabetes!

I'm feeling extremely tired but when I read all of your stories I realise there's a caring community and trust everyone will have the strength and support to enjoy Christmas and the New Year with new challenges to face.

Beverley and dad xx

Wishing you both the very best of health and happiness at Christmas and the year to come 🙂

Great to hear from you, Pippin, and best wishes to you and your Dad for the Christmas season and New Year!
