Oh my god I would have had a fair few choice words for her haha although my grandad did try to give me a bar of chocolate the other day which I told him I couldn't have only reason being 2 squares had 13g carbs in and I wasn't going to inject when i fancied a bit of chocolate hahaI shall be making sure I factor in a few chocolate biscuits over the festive period just on principle!! Had a lunch guest today, who kindly brought a bottle of Cava. And a box of chocolate biscuits, which she handed over with the words 'Of course, you can't have these, but I expect the rest of the family will enjoy them.'

Fair enough, some things aren't worth the hassle, choccy biccies are one thing I usually resist because I'm not so keen on them that it's worth doing an extra insulin shot. I had my fish, chips and mushy peas. BG went to 10.4...the highest I've ever seen it. I'm a bit worried about tomorrow now.![]()
It's already accepted what we're having, prawn cocktail for a start off! Then roast turkey and usual trimmings, though I won't have the cranberry and then pud and brandy butter. I don't like to think what that lots gonna do to my BG. I'm no longer in denial. Cheesed off big time. Just had a sip of Mum's Jack Daniel's agh it made my eyes water.
Fish, chips and peas always sends my BG high too! I very rarely have it as a result. It's not worth it for me. KatiexI had my fish, chips and mushy peas. BG went to 10.4...the highest I've ever seen it. I'm a bit worried about tomorrow now.![]()
