I'm on several online forums and some (but not all) do have members changing their avatar (picture) to a more Chistmasy one.
Is that a thing here? Cheers

Oh yes, I’ve got one up my sleeve! Some do, some don’t, I've definitely used mine for the last couple of years.

Cool, well as its now Dec 1st, it would be rude not to, so......

OK, done mine, I don’t normally start thinking about Christmas til nearer the time. (apart from buying the presents, writing the cards, making the puddings, etc…I keep thinking of things I’ve already done to add to the list, this is turning into a 'What have the Romans ever done for us?' Monty Python sketch)
Daughter photoshopped a pic of me beach riding in Pembrokeshire a few years ago, it would have been beyond my compute skills.

Nope never seen anyone do that here, it would be very confusing to me if everyone suddenly changed their picture for a month.

Hope it’s not too distracting for you @Lucyr

I’ll be Ebeneezer Marvin for a few weeks 🙂

Sorry, Oops, already change mine.... 😳

Is that not a new cup of coffee on your avatar? It looks like the Star Wars rebel alliance insignia in the froth on the top.
Yep fresh coffee but same style of cup and table, though I zoomed in the photo slightly, it’s a leaf on the top. It’s my “new Christmas avatar” to join in the request to change them without being too different that it would be unrecognisable.

This time last year I was on holiday in the Lake District and it snowed and it was truly magical. So I’ve changed my avatar to a photo from last year, @Lucyr it’s still me and Mr Eggy but with hats on! We’re going again tomorrow and the forecast is wet and mild so this brings back amazing memories.

Funny you should mention it, I was just looking out something suitable. Robin might like this one. One of my stained glass things I make for Christmas.
Stunning @Leadinglights
Do you hang it in the window as a sunbather?

I’ve done mine for the last few years. But my avatar is always a horse in some shape or form, so it probably doesn’t look that different.

I am going for an advent themed December. Haven't got an advent calendar for the first time in many years. So new picture each week. First one is a few years old now, dearly beloved in his elf costume.

I have the Kevin the carrot one, only 1.5g carb per chocolate, others will be similarly low in carbs. Diabetes doesn’t mean no advent calendar!

Whenever I've tried a chocolate from an Advent calendar it always tastes stale, as if it's left over from last Christmas. When I was a kid the thrill was in guessing the pictures, so I've never got into the habit of an Advent calendar with chocolates in it. As you say, though, the amount of chocolate per day is minimal.
