Hi Folks
Following another rather disappointing consultation with our Practice GP Specialist I am going to seek advice from a private healthcare consultant. However I want to make sure that they are recommended and offer a good service. If I was employing a plumber or a builder I would know how to check this but does anyone have any advice about choosing a consultant?

Well, for those that work in the NHS (which they might do as well), you might find reviews and comments on the NHS site. At least for the hospital they work at. (https://www.nhs.uk/Services/hospitals/...) I looked when chainging GP practice. One of the hospitals I use also has a Care Quality Commision review info listed. Though perhapes we shouldn't judge individual doctors on that. Could be as much to do with administratioin. (which could be why they're doing private work.)
