Last night we had Chinese for tea - the first time I've had it since carb counting. I used the Carbs and Cals book and basically had what they have in the book apart from having chicken instead of beef so they said it would be 80g carbs and I went with that - 2 units per 10 grams - 16 units. Less than 2 hrs later I felt hypo while putting youngest to bed so DH took over while I went to test my blood - 1.6 😱. I told DH and grabbed the lucozade and drank that then basically passed out on the sofa for a little while. DH was obviously worried but knew BG would rise and I was ok within half hour except my head felt bad so had to go to bed early. What would you inject for chicken chow mein? Not sure where I went wrong? Obviously too much NR but why?
