Carly had her chickenpox last July and the scars are healing on her body but not on her legs/feet so she was referred to Plastic Clinic in Manchester Children's hospital.
They said it is because of her diabetes they are healing very slowly, may take up to 2 years to heal :-(
Anyway they prescribed her some new cream and took some photos of her scars to compare them when we return in 3 months.

Thats a long time to heal, I hope the cream works.🙂Bev

Yes, its been a long time - thanks Bev. Its came only 3 weeks after she was dx

There are lots of parents on the other list who swear that their child got diagnosed either just before or just after having chicken pox - makes you think doesnt it.😱🙂Bev

p.s. Why dont you join up - everyone is lovely and very supportive and all parents so they know how it all feels.
