This thread isn't realy about diabetes, but I'm posting it here as I know that many newcomers tend to suffer from depression and general fedupness

Now how can I put this tactfully?

Well, the lady (and her friends) won't see 21 again, but they get out & about in the Cheviots, Kielder, and other Northumbrian hills, summer and winter, and have a damn good time!
Nice views, singing & dancing, and getting away from it all

Maybe you can't get up some of the bigger hills, but it will show you what can be done
