Went for my biannual check at my GP's diabetic clinic, my HbA1c is 46mmol/ml, cholesterol @ 4.3 'liver and lights' working fine BP@ 130/80.
Feet tickled OK, was asked to read the chart on the door, I said what door! but eyes OK for old git!
I did point out that because I self tested, I was able to control my diabetes the nurse said that whilst they did not encourage self testing for T2's if it works for me fine, they will still prescribe strips etc.
Anyway went for lunch with my good wife, then off to the blood transfusion session to donate my 72 unit, only time I have a bag of crisps with my tea afterwards.
Quite a good day, makes sense of the exercise and healthy eating regime😎
