I'm not completely new but I've been missing for a while. So checking in and just saying hi 🙂
My diabetes isn't causing me any great problems and checks seem to be ok. I have an up and down relationship with my medication in that I just get a bee in my bonnet about taking meds or just forget 😱
In January I asked my GP to refer me to the local council leisure centre healthwise scheme and six weeks on I'm about to have my half way check up.
I know I've been told to lose weight and exercise more but I'm not convinced that I've lost much weight (and there is plenty to lose so it's a bit frustrating). So I am curious as to what the benefits are likely to be.
