Over the years, I?ve heard countless people with undiagnosed diabetes tell me in a reassuring tone that they had been ?checked? for diabetes sometime in the past. But what does being ?checked? really mean? We have a natural tendency to place our faith in the doctors we see, especially if they tell us what we want to hear. And no one wants to get a diagnosis of diabetes. But you should know what getting checked for diabetes is really all about and how to get it done properly.
