Good morning, i'm new to this site and hoping it will be able to answer a few questing that I have,my GP said to watch my carbs do we count them calories

Hi & welcome to the forum. We have to watch our carb intake as carbs turn to glucose & cause our blood sugars to rise. So this means reducing things like bread, rice, pasta & potatoes as well as the obvious sugary things.

Hi Vivienk, welcome to the forum 🙂 Have you been diagnosed with diabetes? It makes sense for everyone to be careful about their carbohydrate consumption, whether you have diabetes or not. It's worth starting a food diary, recording the amounts (in grams) of carbohydrate in everything you eat and drink for a week or so. This will help you to look for areas where you might improve things - if you are not sure about anything, please ask and we will try our best to help 🙂
