Thanks very much for this link about Charcots. Its a damn pity my idiot GP (our surgery's so called diabetic specialist) didn't spot it on one of the 3 occasions I visited him before my foot started to change shape and will now require surgical shoes for life. As you can tell I am still really angry with him

thanks for posting this info. I had never even heard of it until one of the guys at my work with T2 got it....even after going to the drs and telling them it was broken, they said it was just sprained and sent him away. It was over 2 weeks later that they actually took him seriously. So seems like the doctors need to be more aware of this too!!
