As you know my blood sugars have been in the 20s for a while now, Last few times I have seen gp have been nagging him a bit to go back on Lantus instead of Insatard. My sugars were so much better when I was on Lantus before. Saw him today hes put up my insulin again up to 120 units a day now. BUT hes going to get in touch with my hospital specialist and have a word with her about changing back to Lantus. I know whats concerning him the most is the ods I have taken but we will have to wait and see what happens

Hi Gail, I'm sure you would feel much better if your numbers weren't so high all the time. I hope that the increased dose helps bring them down or that you can find some way of staying safe with the lantus should they agree to the change.
