Changes to Licence Rules for Public/Commercial vehicles

I am none to sure on this one. When I tried to get my C1 entitlement back I had to jump through so many hoops I gave up in the end! Whist you may be able to theoretically be able to obtain a licence reality could be very different.
 
Not much worse than trying to renew your C1 entitlement once you reach 70 anyway - and you may be astounded to know there are quite a lot of over 70's who want to drive that class of vehicle - the majority of which (probably) - are motorhomes!!

exactly the same for me, filled out forms doctors medical etc etc and then sent off and then sent the same form again gave up!
 
The changes don't come in until October 2011 so anyone applying before then may have had more problems than someone applying after then?
