PATIENTS will have the chance to come face-to-face with the doctors who will soon be running the NHS at the first public meeting of its kind in Worcestershire.
NHS budgets in Worcestershire will be controlled from April by three clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) ? south Worcestershire, Redditch and Bromsgrove, and Wyre Forest.
The first board meeting to be held in public takes place on Tuesday from 9am to 12.30pm at the Corn Exchange on the ground floor of Kidderminster Town Hall in Vicar Street. Wyre Forest CCG is set to take over responsibility for planning and buying most of the health services as part of the Government?s NHS reforms.
