DIABETES UK is calling for young people aged with Type 1 diabetes to get involved in developing internet and mobile phone applications which will help them get the most out of their healthcare appointments.
The Diabetes App Challenge is part of a research project funded by the charity and led by researchers at Peninsula Medical School and Plymouth University. Individuals and teams are invited to design and develop an app that might help young people with diabetes prepare for, and get the most out of, diabetes healthcare appointments.
