I had some teething problems yesterday but the CGM is now onto the second week with the recordings still being good. Hooray especially because I was finding it very difficult to justify to myself spending ?62.50 per week on sensors!

On another note - I had to take paracetamol yesterday and it just sent the CGM absolutely wacky - I was warned about this before I bought the CGM but hadn't realised just how bad the effect of paracetamol was on the CGM........but I was in so much pain I had to take the paracetamol in addition to neurofen and naxproxen

Brilliant, sound like it is going well still. Is it just paracetamol or do other things like ibuprofen affect the CGM too? It seems strange that such a common painkiller would affect a cgm like that 😱

Hi Natalie yes it is still brilliant, thank you. The only drug that ineracts with the CGM is paracetamol - I think this is referred to as tylenol in the US. All other painkillers are fine - thank goodness, otherwise I wouldn't be able to use the CGM
