"Modest benefits"?!!🙄 I've grown in confidence >100% using my Libre. More confidence = less stress = a huge benefit as far as I'm concerned. E.g. I dipped to 7.6 in class yesterday and instead of reaching for my GlucoTabs in a mild panic, I said to myself: "That's fine, dim prob, my Libre says -->, carry on". Modest benefits, my a**e!🙂😛

Apart from one or two notable exceptions I've yet to hear anyone who has used a Libre or CGMS say it hasn't helped them hugely! I'm considering a Libre myself - even though my control is generally good I bet there are some areas I'm unaware of and which would be a simple 'win' to solve 🙂

I agree, but the reason why more research is needed because this was a poorly constructed study. In fact, because of the way they constructed it, it could be said to be worthless. They're not comparing it to anything.

It astounds me that so little research appears to exist! 😱 CGM's have been around for years, and some countries are very extensively used.

Go on, Northerner, take the plunge. Think of the money you're saving on alcohol. Put it good use🙂
