Hi, recently diagnosed with type 2 and started taking Metformin and Gliclazide. I've taken regular finger prick blood tests but have, as one of my main concerns, the worry about what is happening to BS levels when I'm not taking tests and what I should be looking out for. I've done a little research into CGM's and the like and was wondering what, or which, is the best option. I know a CGM can't replace a finger prick test and will continue to do them but some advice would be much appreciated. Alternatively, has anyone experience of using a dedicated smartwatch?

You could apply for a free trial as long as you have a compatible phone to see how you get on and gain as much information as you can for making adjustments to your diet. After that you would have to self find and at about £40 for 2 weeks it is an expensive option.
As long as you are aware of the limitations and there are treads about that and don't be tempted to over react to something which may actually not be a problem.
