They've added being "overweight' as against "obese" as maybe bringing increased risk.
T2D continues to be listed as being a strong risk factor. You can dig down into the evidence they present to see what extent BG/HbA1c levels condition that risk assessment. Overall I think they would say keeping BG under control shouls certainly be helpful but the situation isn't crystal clear.
