Had this before, trouble is i don't like the taste, and when it come to spices i tend to not know what goes, so any good ideas?

Going to make it tonight with chicken in coke

The 'rice' usually picks up the taste of the sauce you have with it so usually you won't need to season it. In this case, the Coke (diet, right?) should provide the flavouring. Otherwise, fry it up with some chopped onions, a bit of salt and pepper...whatever you might season 'real' rice with.

Normally what I'd do is fry some chopped chilies and garlic in oil, and then use that oil to fry the rice. You could also use just toasted sesame oil to fry the rice too.

Oh, and soy sauce is always good too, of course. Throw in some grated carrot and some peas.

I use a lot of different things in it. Sometimes I put curry and chilli powder. Other times I add some fennel and caraway seed and chopped nuts. I've also used Worcester sauce and Tabasco to spice it up. Almost anything goes I think.

stuck onions, garlic and carrots in it then when it was about done, mixed it with two eggs. Wasn't too bad
