Cauli Rice and mash

Hi everyone, I'm sure this is a daft question but can you make cauli mash or cauli rice using frozen cauliflower or does it have to be fresh cauliflower?
I usually only shop once per week and so always have forzen vegetables in stock, many thanks









Type 2, diagnoed July 2008, D/E controlled, recent HbA1c 5-9
 
I would think it would be too watery - but you could try defrosting it first.🙂Bev
 
If you defrost it and use paper towels or something to soak up the excess water before making the mash, it should be OK. The rice would probably work better from fresh as it needs to be a fairly firm texture.
