EXPERTS uncovered suspected diabetes in more than 100 people who turned up at a two-day roadshow.
National charity Diabetes UK staged the event in Old Hall Street, Hanley, which estimates there are around 1,700 people in Stoke-on-Trent who are not aware they have the disease.
A total of 179 people were assessed and of that number 118 were referred to their GP for further advice or tests as their risk of Type 2 diabetes was moderate to high.
The roadshow also offered advice on how to make beneficial lifestyle changes.
