how often should you do this i have a blue contor + meter it didt come with any do i need to get some?

Usually advised to do it every week or every new pot of test strips if you read the leaflet with your meter.

It doesn’t calibrate the meter though it just sense checks it. And most only do it if they don’t trust the readings.

I think i calibrated once. You get a small bottle of calibration fluid with the meter and, once opened, it only lasts 3 months.
My control solution expired 2023.
Given its not on prescription, nor are we encouraged to do it, have a feeling very few people bother.
