A training day has been held to help make carers aware of diabetes and how to manage it.
Age UK Northumberland ran the course in St Michael’s Parish Hall, Alnwick, to train the leaders of its Home Care service.
A volunteer from Diabetes UK delivered a presentation, followed by a course from an Age UK trainer.
Coun Scott Dickinson, chairman of Northumberland County Council’s health and well-being board, presented certificates to those who attended.
