hi ,My name is Julie and i am my Husbands carer , he is 72 years old and he has just been started on Insulin so we are just about getting the hang of it ..i am hoping to pick up some tips from you Forum users . nice to meet you all . ps we are in Scotland ..

Welcome @Julez 🙂 What insulin(s) has your husband been put on and when does he take them? The most important things as I’m sure you already know is to keep hypo treatments near, test lots, and inform the DVLA if your husband drives.

It can be a worry starting insulin but it does soon become routine. How is your husband managing so far?
