Down loaded and gave it a quick look - seems quite good.

Not sure about the pile of spuds on the front cover?:confused:
 
Excellent book and excellent format - its a lot easier to read / carry around on the iPad than the DAFNE course book.

Well done Diabetes UK.

If there is to be a second edition, it would be good to add an appendix similar in format to The carb & cals book so you have everything in one place.

For any type 1 waiting for a place on DAFNE read this book.
 
Looks good to me. Nicely laid out, easy to read etc. Looks like it goes into plenty of detail in some sections. Because of this I haven't read it all, just skimmed over it.

Maybe I'm being picky but putting this in bold:
do not contain carbohydrate
and then listing food which does contain carbohydrate:confused: Yes it's small amounts, but they do contain it, i.e. cheese, salad etc.
