Formerly a well-known restaurateur, Richard Smith launched his 2013 captaincy of Tenterden Golf Club with sizzling breakfasts for members taking part in a January competitionpreceding his official drive-in.
Smith, who joined the club about 20 years ago and has a handicap of 9, says his mission as captain is to increase the number of members who play in area and regional competitions.
