In December they migrated their website to a new system. They also migrated all existing usernames, but not passwords, citing the ever-popular "security reasons" for the latter (in this case, I think they meant "we couldn't be bothered"🙄) So all existing users need to re-activate their accounts.

Because the Glucofacts software can only be downloaded by logged-in users, and the copy I have is five years old and thus doesn't meet the current Java security standards, I have thus tried at least three times to reactivate my account; but although they say that the email with the link has been sent, it never arrives.

Flaming annoying...

Have you checked your spam folder?

I am aware of the possibility of false positives, hence check my spam folder at least once daily (and regularly empty it so there aren't too many messages to plough through), and the messages haven't arrived there either.

Success at last! 🙂 Because the "Activate account" link doesn't work, what one has to do is to pretend to have "forgotten" the password. 🙄 That link works...

Ironically (given MacG3's post above), the "reset password" email did indeed arrive in my Spam folder! 😱 So I reported it as "not spam" before opening it.

That must be what I did 🙂 You would think they would have tested it!
