The only fruit I have now is berries, I was eating 5-7 portions of fruit a day before diagnosis, but cut that back to no more than 2 a day (sometimes 0 a day). I do snack on peanuts (and the salted variety)

I now know the locations of two mulberry trees, and have picked a few, but need to return when berries are optimum ripeness 🙂

Thank you all for your posts 🙂. Each of us is an individual and I have found that fruit is not good for me as it spikes my BG. I know that berries are best. I do eat peanuts from time to time, don't know why DN thinks that they are "bad", she does have some odd ideas such as grapes being a fruit of choice for me. I filter all her information and pick out the bits that make sense. 🙂

I've almost missed the blackberries here, but I'm hoping to grab the last few scrapings this weekend.

I'm not sure I'd manage very easily without a handful of peanuts every so often. Very much my nibble of choice.
