Type 2
looking on another page and someone says they are type 2 and have now changed to 1.5 . what is 1.5 type is it half way to type 1 or am i being abit dum can you change from one type of diabetes to another .
thanks

No, you don't change, but what has happened in some cases is that people are misdiagnosed as Type 2 when in fact they turn out to be a slow-onset Type 1, which is also known as Type 1.5. If there is doubt about type then there are some extra tests that can be done to see if the diabetes is autoimmune and therefore Type 1 (or Type 1.5). 🙂
