Can I take Cod Liver Oil & Garlic Tablets...with Diabetes?

Hi all, as part of my new regime I am wanting to start taking Cod Liver Oil and Garlic tablets to help with my painful joints, and hopefully, my heart with the Garlic!...I read that Glucosamine Can increase Blood sugars, so I don't want to get the Joint care tablets...So, my question is, as a diabetic on Insulin, is there anything I need to be aware of before I take 'High Strengh Cod Liver Oil' and 'Garlic tablets?'

Any advice would be so appretiated...Thank you!

I would think it would be ok but ring nhs direct 1st to see wot they say?

I would think they are OK Ellowyne, but perhaps you should check the leaflets that come with your other medication and ask the pharmacist when you go to buy them - they should know if there are any 'mixtures' to avoid! 🙂

Thank you for replies...Yes, I do need to check my other meds as well...I am hoping that my Blood pressure tablets will not be a problem with the Garlic?...Just want to try to boost my body into action, as can't move too much! I might see if I can get to speak to my DSN, maybe that would be a good idea first 🙂
