My friend suggested I think about using these as a way to aid weight loss. I have read up and it says its safe but it mentions there maybe issues with liver or kidney disease. I am being investigated for a fatty liver, pending scan, so do I wait for those results although its a little contradictory as reports also say the medication helps with fatty liver, so I am guessing it would only be an issue if I have something else like Liver or Pancreatic Cander, cirrosis, or maybe end stage liver disease. (I am hoping unlikely as although I itch all over, I dont have yellow eyes or other symptoms) Sorry wandered off from the topic here.

Just wondered if anyone had had any success with it, also does it help lower cholesterol as it prevents 1/3 of fat being absorbed?
